Cloete’s Sand and Stone was founded in 1982 as a sole proprietor operating across Gauteng. A second hand truck was purchased and driven by Brian Cloete. He emphasised the importance of giving the best service, and this allowed him to grow.

Years of experience has given the family business a wealth of knowledge in the construction industry and transport, thus giving Cloete’s Sand and Stone a competitive edge.

New ideas and interest in technological advancements in transport, admin and procedure have come into the business with Second generation Wesley Cloete joining the company in 2008.

The business operates over 60 modern trucks in its fleet, which allows for improvements on lead time due to safer operating speeds and less down time due to break downs, thus benefiting the customer.
