Monster Jam is a live motorsport event tour with the main attraction being the racing and freestyle competitions by monster trucks.
Cloete’s Sand & Stone was contracted by one of our clients to import 3000mᶟ of sifted -6mm clay sub-soil for the recent Monster Jam event held at FNB Stadium in Nasrec Johannesburg. The soil was transported by Cloete’s Sand & Stone over a 3 day period, to a holding area at the stadium.
Cloete’s Sand & Stone sourced the material from Crush-It Green, a supply partner based in Meadowdale, who worked through the nights to deliver the quality, recycled aggregate within the required timeframes.
The Cloete’s Sand and Stone team worked from 10pm on Thursday 2 May until 6am on Friday morning 3 May, making use of 15mᶟ trucks, importing the soil from the holding area, into the stadium, allowing the “dirt crew” time to build the track before the event that was held on Saturday 4 May 2019.
The Cloete’s Sand and Stone team returned to the stadium on Saturday evening after the show had ended, to remove the soil from the stadium pitch, so that the clean-up could begin. They returned at 6 am on Monday, and spent the next 2 days, removing the soil from the premises.
We’re proud to have been involved in this Monster Jam event and invite you to contact us for your special event aggregate requirements.
